Das Motiv der Gold Britannia Anlagemünzen wurde bis zur 10jährigen Prägung unverändert emittiert. Erst in diesem Jahr erschein das Sondermotiv "Britannia im Streitwagen", welches vom Sammlermarkt gut angenommen wurde. Entsprechend wurde von 2001 bis 2007 in ungeraden Jahren jeweils ein Britannia Sondermotiv veröffentlicht. Seit 2008 wechselt das Motiv unregelmäßig.

Abweichend von den oben genannten Motiven erschien 2006 die Gold Proof Britannia Portrait Collection. Das Set enthält alle fünf bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlichten Motive. Die enthaltenen 1/4 Unze Gold Proofmünzen tragen das Prägejahr 2006 und sind auf jeweils 250 Exemplare limitiert.
